A Ring Gauge is a measurement used to describe the diameter of a cigar. It represents the cigar’s thickness and is expressed in 1/64th of an inch. For example, a cigar with a ring gauge of 32 has a diameter of 32/64 inches, or exactly half an inch.
In modern cigar production, the standard ring gauge is usually around 50, although there are cigars available in both larger and smaller sizes.
