Foundation Cigar Company's Tabernacle is a super premium cigar featuring a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper and some of Nicaragua's finest fillers and binders. This blend was crafted by Nicholas Melillo, who draws from his roots in the Connecticut River Valley and extensive experience with artisanal tobacco batches from Nicaragua. Carefully handcrafted at AJ Fernandez's factory in Esteli, this cigar uses San Andreas Mexican binder tobacco and fillers from Jamastran Valley in Honduras, as well as Esteli and Jalapa Valley in Nicaragua. The Tabernacle box conveys the history of its name; featuring an image of Haile Selassie, the 225th King of Abyssinia tracing his lineage directly to King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba - its reference to "tabernacle" being derived from its use as a container for the Ark of the Covenant.
