The Foundation Olmec Maduro cigar line pays homage to the Olmec civilization of Mexico, which flourished in the San Andres region from 1600 to 400 BCE. The Olmecs were pioneers in using mathematical formulas for pyramid construction and enjoying cigars. Made with tobacco from this region, the Olmec Maduro cigars feature a rich Mexican San Andres maduro wrapper that undergoes a slow, low temperature fermentation process to preserve its oils and enhance its flavor. The filler leaves, sourced from Nicaragua, are also aged for three years before being rolled into each cigar to ensure the development of their unique flavors.
