Today, JDN is the most international brand of our Nicaragua, with presence in over 50 markets, and growing. Joya is thriving like never before, and it is thanks to their skillful and resilient people. Quality is not an obligation, it is their highest commitment. JDN looks forward to even more than 50 years lifting the Nicaraguan Cigar industry, and creating the most Nicaraguan cigars.
Are you ready to part with your Fuente OpusX cigars? Before you
answer, try the memorable series from Joya de Nicaragua cigars that
earned a 91 in Cigar Insider. The Antano (which means “from
yesteryear” in Spanish) is a smooth-smoking variation of the
full-flavored blend made by Joya back in the 1970s. These cigars
are balanced with bold Nicaraguan Ligero leaves, and then swathed
with thick and dark Nicaraguan Criollo wrappers. Believe it when
you taste it; just make sure your seat belt is fastened!

To commemorate 55 years, Joya de Nicaragua brings back a renowned
cigar blend - the Clásico Original. Rarely seen in the past 15
years, this cigar has an impressive history as the official
choice at the Nixon White House and the first Nicaraguan puro to
be exported from Nicaragua. Made with Nicaraguan binder and
filler tobaccos wrapped in an Ecuadorian Connecticut shade leaf,
the Clásico offers a pleasing combination of pepper, coffee,
wood, and cream flavors.
To commemorate 55 years since its inception, Joya de Nicaragua
brings back a beloved cigar blend - the Clásico Original. After a
15-year hiatus from the market, this prestigious cigar returns
with a notable history as it was once the preferred choice of the
Nixon White House and the first Nicaraguan puro to be exported
from Nicaragua. This blend features binder and filler tobaccos
from Nicaragua, enclosed in an Ecuadorian Connecticut shade leaf.
With notes of pepper, coffee, wood, and cream, it promises a
fulfilling smoking experience.
Formerly reserved for Nicaraguan ambassadors to personally gift
to world leaders, the Joya De Nicaragua Numero Uno has now been
released as a limited small batch of only 1,500 boxes worldwide.
According to Joya de Nicaragua owner Dr. Alejandro Martínez
Cuenca, this cigar is part of the new "Obras Maestras" collection
alongside other ultra-premium cigars such as Cuatro Cinco and
Cinco Décadas. This particular cigar boasts a 6 5/8 inch by 44
ring gauge lonsdale vitola with a fantail cap named
L'Ambassadeur. Its binder and filler consist exclusively of
Nicaraguan tobaccos, while its wrapper is a lightly hued
Connecticut-seed leaf grown in Ecuador under cloudy skies. Upon
release, it quickly received rave reviews, earning halfwheel's
Top Cigar of 2018 award and an impressive score of 94 points.
