Recently, leaders in the cigar industry have been commemorating the Chinese New Year by releasing new cigars that correspond to the zodiac animal of that year. Gurkha, known for incorporating dragon imagery into their releases, couldn't pass up the opportunity in 2024, which is the Year of the Dragon. Joining other companies in this tradition, they debuted the Gurkha Year of The Dragon. According to the Chinese Zodiac, those born in the Year of the Dragon are described as intelligent, confident, and ambitious. With determination, Gurkha collaborated with four top companies - AJ Fernandez, Casa Carrillo, Oliva and Oscar Valladares - to create unique offerings for this special occasion. Each of these "fabulous five" features a different blend and format for a one-of-a-kind smoking experience. Though limited in quantity, these cigars are stellar and will be available in red boxes. One particular standout is a 6 3/4 x 52 figurado from El Artista in the Dominican Republic.
