The CAO Zocalo Gigante is a full-bodied toro that pays homage to
Mexico and its rich tobacco. When it first came out in 2018 as a
special edition cigar, the Zocalo has since become a regular
offering that boasts an ebony Mexican San Andres maduro wrapper
enveloping a Nicaraguan binder and filler. This strong blend
provides an interesting array of earthy and spicy notes, coupled
with pleasant sweetness. The cigar's name originates from Zocalo,
which is now referred to as Plaza de la Constitucion in Mexico
City. The blend of the cigar remains unchanged, however, its
packaging and band have been redesigned.
