The popular story behind the 7-20-4 cigar brand is that it was named after founder R.G. Sullivan's lottery ticket with winning numbers 7, 20, and 4. However, according to George Franklyn Willey's book Willey's semi-centennial book of Manchester, 1846-1896, Sullivan changed the name from "New Gold Dust Cigars" to "7-20-4," in connection with the address of his cigar factory at 724 Elm Street in Manchester, New Hampshire. The 10ยข cigars were hand-made and unfortunately cannot be shipped into New York.
