A full-bodied Cuban cigar created by Pete Johnson in 2003.
Blended in the style of the flavorful yet medium Cuban cigars.
Cigars are rolled in the USA using Nicaraguan tobaccos and
classic Cuban blending with a beautiful Cuban triple cap.
A robust toro, made exclusively for the Premium Cigar Association
(PCA) by My Father Cigars in Nicaragua for Tatuaje Cigars. The
limited edition Tatuaje PCA 2023 features a potent smoke with a
profile of spicy, earthy, leathery, and coffee notes. Its
Nicaraguan binder and filler are wrapped in a rustic Ecuadorian
Sumatra-seed wrapper with a milk chocolatey finish. This cigar is
a special release, with only 2,500 boxes of 20 cigars each
available.
There are woody, spicy, chocolatey, and cedar notes in this
medium-bodied cigar. Handmade by My Father Cigars in Miami,
Florida, the Tatuaje Miami Unicos have a warm-brown Ecuadorian
Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler. Cigar Insider
gave the Tatuaje Miami Unicos a 90 rating and Cigar Aficionado
gave it an 88 rating.
The Tatuaje Private Reserve, commonly referred to as Tat Black
Label, was a blend exclusively crafted by Pete Johnson. This
cigar was his personal creation, reserved for only a select few
individuals. Over time, it gained immense popularity among cigar
enthusiasts and created problems in the secondary market. As
demand grew, there was a need for a steady supply. Today, the Tat
Black Label is readily available as a regular production cigar.
While the blend remains undisclosed like most of Pete's products,
it undoubtedly delivers the perfect combination of body and
flavor.
The Tatuaje Brown Label, crafted by "Tattoo" Pete Johnson, draws
inspiration from the renowned Cuban Montecristos. Its blend is
composed of 1st Generation Cuban seed grown in Nicaragua and
expertly rolled by skilled torcedors at the My Father Factory
under the guidance of Don "Pepín" Garcia and his family. The
result is a Nicaraguan puro with a bold, medium to full-bodied
profile that exudes tantalizing spice and rich tobacco flavors.
To top it off, each cigar is adorned with a sophisticated Cuban
triple-seam cap. The Tatajue's Cojonu 2012 limited edition boasts
a boxed pressed 6 ½ x 52 size and comes in five wrapper options:
Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro, Ecuadorian Sumatra, Ecuadorian
Habano, Nicaraguan Corojo, and Mexican San Andres. All of these
blends are expertly crafted at the My Father Factory in Esteli,
Nicaragua. While the Sumatra and Habano wrappers offer a solid
medium-bodied smoking experience, the Connecticut Broadleaf,
Mexican San Andres, and Corojo wrappers deliver a bolder flavor
profile.
