Right from the start, Dapper Cigar Co. had the ambition to craft a bold, flavorful cigar that they had never before made. Raul Disla and Ian Reith spent months pushing their own boundaries in order to create Siempre Rosado - a process that was not easy in an industry where it’s tough to meet the challenge of concocting a full-bodied cigar without under fermented leaf. To make sure the strength was just right, they opted for an eighth priming Ecuadorian Habano Rosado wrapper which starts off pinkish and after two years of fermentation darkens with rosado tones only visible when exposed to sunlight. For the binder and fillers, Dapper Cigar Co. chose a heavy Nicaraguan Habano binder accompanied by some US and Nicaraguan fillers – combining these enabled them to produce what is arguably their most unique product on the market today.
