At TPE 2023, Gurkha Cigars unveiled their latest offering, the Grand Age II. This three-blend value set is a spinoff of one of their popular lines, the Gurkha Grand Age. According to Jim Colucci, President and CEO of Gurkha Cigars, the Grand Age II has been a fun project in development for the past few months. In a press release, he explains that they stumbled upon an inventory of Grand Age boxes in their factories and saw an opportunity to create something special with them. By designing an insert to hold three different toro size cigars in one master box, they have given a fresh twist to a beloved packaging style. To make it even more exciting, they have collaborated with a new factory and are thrilled to showcase this blend in such a unique format for consumers to enjoy.

The name Gurkha originated from the Anglo-Nepalese war, where
British soldiers gave this moniker to Nepali warriors. The
military aptitude of these soldiers so impressed the British that
they were officially incorporated into the British Indian Army as
a regiment. Their reputation for valiance and unyielding
determination became legendary. Roughly in the late 19th century,
British soldiers began crafting their own cigars using
locally-sourced tobacco, which they named after this highly
regarded regiment. This practice continued for over a century.
Then in 1989, Kaizad Hansotia established Gurkha cigars as we
know it today, expanding its reach and focusing on premium
offerings synonymous with exceptional quality. Following the
distinguished Grand Age series, the Grand Age II features three
handcrafted 6 x 54 Toro vitolas produced at Nicaragua's Las
Villas Cigars factory using an undisclosed blend. Each cigar in
this series is defined by a different wrapper; exemplified by
this edition's Nicaraguan Connecticut wrapper.

century until Kaizad Hansotia founded Gurkha cigars in 1989,
expanding its reach and focusing on providing top-quality,
super-premium cigars for a luxurious experience. As part of the
