This is supposedly a one-time release of these cigars. Made for Ashton by Don Pepin, the La Aroma de Cuba Edicion Especial is the first Nicaraguan La Aroma de Cuba. The filler and binder are from Nicaragua and the wrapper is an Ecuadorian sun grown leaf from the Oliva Tobacco Company. The San Cristobal is best described as having a reddish hue with an oily wrapper. The cigar's flavors hint of pepper, earth, and barnyard as described by cigar aficionados.
